Begin your tour with a private car pick-up from your hotel. If you've chosen to add a guide to your tour, you will also meet them there. You will be driven to the Holy Cave of the Apocalypse, the location where John the Evangelist spoke with God and recited what eventually became the book of Revelation.
Next you will continue to the Convent of Evangelismos, which offers lush gardens and a spectacular view of the Bay of Kipi. Then it's time for a short walk through the winding, cobbled streets of Chora, eventually stopping at the Convent of Zoodochos Pigi. There you can marvel at the quaint chapel and the 17th-century frescoes.
After that it's time to explore the Monastery of St. John, a towering, Byzantine-like fortress. Founded in 1088. The monastery boasts walls over 15 meters high and an exquisite collection of jeweled chalices, crowns, and crosses, as well as an original El Greco painting.
After passing by Grikos Bay you will arrive at the Bay of Lambi. Wander around the nearby trails, enjoy a swim, or relax on the beach before getting back into the car, driving back to central Patmos, and ending your tour.
