Start the day at the majestic Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda complex. Admire the elaborately constructed palace buildings, some of the 5,000 silver floor tiles that give the Silver Pagoda its name, as well as the spectacular gold and bejeweled Buddha statues that are considered national treasures. Then you will walk to the nearby National Museum- a beautiful sandstone museum that showcases the world’s largest collection of Khmer art.
After that you will take a break for lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will join a guided walking tour through the busy streets of central Phnom Penh. There you will explore some of the city's best-preserved colonial architecture, such as the Post Office and the National Library. The tour will finish at Phsar Thmey, Phnom Penh’s central market and an Art Deco landmark. There you will follow your guide through the labyrinth of stalls as you learn more about the everyday life of modern Cambodians
