Pyrgos

Pyrgos is a Greek city, capital of the regional unit of Elis. In the 1510s, during the Ottoman control over Greece, a man from Kalavryta decided to move and reform the area near the new city. According to the stories, the new ruler built a great tower (Πύργος, pyrgos in Greek) on a hill to supervise his fields and his flocks. Come here and explore the city!
