History, charm and beauty have always been characteristic of the marvelous archeological site of Terme di Caracalla, the Roman Baths. Get the chance to listen to a live music performance in this absolutely unique theatrical stage! The Baths were opened in AD 216 and had been conceived as a place capable of accommodating thousands of people at the same time.

Since 1937 Teatro dell'Opera chose this striking location for its open-air summer season of concerts. Depending on the selected evening you will have the chance to listen to Verdi's Aida, a unique work holding a central place in the operatic canon, The Merry Widow, Lehár's successful operetta or The Barber of Seville by Gioachino Rossini, the greatest masterpiece of comedy in opera.
