Saint Petersburg is Russia's ancient capital city, where the Czars had their palace and the economic, artistic and cultural life took place in the past centuries.
This one day tour through the city allows you to discover its wonders and experience the most beautiful attractions. Enjoy first a sightseeing tour including stops by sphinxes near the spit of Vasilevsky Island. Then you will visit the world renowned Hermitage Museum with its important art collection and grandiose architectural complex and the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, with its Russian styled domes and its dazzling and colorful facades and interiors.
Lunch will be at a typical Russian restaurant and in the afternoon you will drive 30 km out of St. Petersburg to visit the Peterhof, the summer residence of the czars, called the "Russian Versailles". Peterhof (Petrodvorets) is a jewel of Russian art, a city of parks, palaces and fountains.
In the evening you will be driven back to the Harbor where you will board your ship again.
