While exploring the majestic mountain landscapes of Chiapas, you'll be captivated by the awe-inspiring Agua Azul Falls. This natural wonder is a series of cascading waterfalls, with some reaching heights of up to 6m (20 ft). As the Agua Azul River descends its limestone bed, it forms a sequence of striking waterfalls that create natural pools, contained by calcareous dikes or 'gours' as they're known in geological terms. A road leads to this site where amenities are available.
Your exploration continues at Misol-Ha, a magnificent waterfall standing approximately 30m high. It forms a large pool where, conditions permitting, you can take a refreshing swim. This verdant oasis, nestled within the high rainforest of Chiapas highlands, boasts rich vegetation including towering mahogany and sapodilla trees.
Depending on your preference, your journey concludes with either a drop-off in Palenque (13 hours tour duration) or a return to your hotel in San Cristóbal de las Casas (18 hours tour duration). You'll choose at the end of the tour on-site.
