Meet your guide in Ponta Delgada from where you will depart by public transport to Lomba do Cavaleiro. After a journey of about an hour, venture for about 7 hours along the Agrião trail, which is located in the south-east of São Miguel Island.
Along with your hiking guide, get off the beaten track and discover beautiful places on the island of São Miguel such as the Ponta do Garajau and the parish of Ribeira Quente where you will be rewarded with breathtaking landscapes on the Atlantic Ocean! This little-traveled trail will allow you to make the most of this place in peace. Along the way, observe native species and cross rivers and streams over wooden bridges.
Finally, in the last part of this linear trail, pass by traditional houses and a small chapel that offers a fantastic view. Recover your batteries with a light picnic and head to the Ribeira Quente beach where the trail ends before returning to Ponta Delgada.
