Discover the magic of Sardinian filigree craftsmanship in a famous local goldsmith's workshop dating back to the first half of the 20th century.
Watching the mastery of Mattia, a young son of art, you will discover traditional techniques and see a typical Sardinian jewel come to life. The experience will take place in his goldsmith's workshop in the center of the village of Dorgali, in the province of Nuoro. You will begin the activity starting with the fusion of precious metals and then continue with all the other steps leading to the creation of the jewel: rolling, drawing, design and realization.
You will have the opportunity to try out the drawing techniques yourself and follow the creation of a grain. It will be a unique privilege that will put you in touch with the history and traditions of Sardinia also through Mattia's stories!
