What to expect
Embark on a bumboat cruise along the Singapore River to see modern Singapore from a different perspective. The Singapore River is historically a trading waterway and is representative of the foundation upon which Singapore has been built. The country's rapid development in its early years, especially in the first 40 years of its settlement history, was developed along the lower reaches of Singapore River. Today, it has been transformed into a scenic route, with diverse entertainment and cultural offerings along the River for both local and foreign visitors.

Depart from one of the boarding points along Clarke Quay, then cruise upriver past the beautiful shop houses along Boat Quay towards key landmarks like the skyscrapers of the financial district, Parliament House, the historic Fullerton Hotel, all the way to Marina Bay and back. To make your cruise more meaningful, an onboard audiovisual commentary will tell you stories of the Singapore River and its surrounding areas, as well as how overcoming past struggles has brought Singapore to its present.
