This one-day private trip takes you to the highlights of Suzhou. You will visit the picturesque Tiger Hill, wander along Shantang Street (Seven-Li Shantang), take a boat tour along the river, explore the typical Qing-style Lingering Garden (Liu Yuan) and the Buddhist Hanshan Temple.
Your trip starts at Tiger Hill - a large hillock covering about 14,100 square meters. You'll climb onto the hill to find a number of historical sites some of which can be traced back over 2,500 years. You'll explore the ancient riverside pedestrian street - Shantang Street, you will take a boat along the clear river and enjoy the fascinating scenery of small arched bridges, wooden boats adrift, numerous old residences, and shops.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you'll head to the Lingering Garden (Liu Yuan), well-known for the exquisite beauty of its magnificent halls, and the various sizes, shapes, and colors of the buildings. Here you could find the most delicate layout and strangest rock. You'll then visit the Hanshan Temple, one of the most famous Buddhist temples. You'll see the statue of Han Shan, stone tablet inscriptions of ancient China, and statues of the Buddhists. You'll also visit Suzhou Silk Museum and learn the traditional silk spinning.
At the end of the day, your guide and driver will drop you off at Suzhou downtown hotel or Suzhou Railway Station.
