The first stop will be at Gifu Prefecture's Daiou-ji Temple. You'll study about the afterlife realm in Buddhism, as well as the history of Takayama. You'll then proceed to the Sogenji Temple, an operating monastery. Furthermore, you'll also have the opportunity to see the first Japanese samurai family temple. Your next stop will be Tenshoji Temple, which is famous for the legend of a Buddhist priest and an octopus who protected Kishiwada.
