Join this day trip from Shkodër to discover more about Theth and Albania's past.
After meeting with your guide directly at your hotel and leaving early in the morning, you'll first stop will be at the Qafe Thore, an ancient guard station and now a beautiful panoramic point. Once reached Theth around 11am, you'll be welcomed at a local restaurant ("bujtina") and get acquainted with the local hospitality.
After lunch, you'll explore the ancient village on a guided walking tour, stopping at the church of Theth, which was built in 1892 and renovated in 2005. Moving inside the village, you'll notice the characteristic tower houses before reaching Kulla e Ngujimit, the symbol of a no longer existing Albania: the tower was in fact used as a shelter in case of blood revenge ("gjakmarrja") during the quarrels between families. In the afternoon, at the end of the guided tour, you'll leave Theth to come back to Shkodër.
