Use and watch Japanese knives and other authentic Japanese cooking utensils during this 2-hour workshop.
Learn the difference between single-edged and double-edged knives, watch a performance, see how to cut tuna and how to slice and peel vegetables. Cut tuna with a sashimi knife for your lunch and then enjoy a tuna bowl with red miso soup and sake. If you wish, you can try cutting with other Japanese knives too.
The workshop takes place at Tokyo D Kitchen, a studio equipped with professional-grade authentic kitchen facilities and cooking utensils. The studio is also furnished with digitalization facilities such as a 6 m x 3 m giant high-intensity LED signage monitor and seven ceiling-mounted 4 K remote cameras, etc. Lessons are conducted using easy-to-understand videos to touch the essence of Japanese cooking.
At the end of the experience, receive photos and mini videos of the trial lesson as a gift.
