Due to its geographical location, Tromsø is one of the top places in the world to witness the Northern Lights. In this tour, you will start your chase with a 2.5 hours drive away from the city center to escape the light pollution and find clear skies. Once you arrive on location, you will be served hot drinks along with biscuits as you wait for the northern lights to appear.
Throughout the evening, you will be accompanied by a highly trained professional guide who has extensive knowledge of the northern lights, and who will ensure you are as comfortable and warm as possible. Included in the tour is a portrait photo which will be taken on the night so you can keep a souvenir from your experience.
This tour is the perfect combination of comfort, nature, great company and the passion to find the northern lights. The Arctic climate can be cold, and being prepared is the key to a good experience, so make sure you dress warmly. We recommend layers of wool and a down jacket, as well as a hat, mittens, scarf and warm socks.
Please note that as the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, no guarantees can be made as to their appearance, however your accompanying team will be using all their experience to maximize the chances of a successful chase.
