Built in 1867, with its unique location and the remarkable Italian Renaissance style, Kursalon counts as one of the most exclusive buildings in Vienna. The Strauss brothers celebrated their greatest successes in this building, and dances and promenade concerts filled this house with waltz enchantment and joie de vivre.
Every year in February, Kursalon opens its doors for the traditional Johann Strauss Ball. Every time, the glittering ball night is specially themed by famous Vienna landmarks and includes an exquisite gala dinner, a splendid ball opening as well as a midnight show.
