Meet your guide at Mörlenbach train station and take a short van transfer to the starting point of your hike in the Odenwald forest. From here, you'll set off along natural trails and discover a varied landscape shaped by both nature and local history.
Your first stop is the historic Ober-Mengelbach quarry. Once a place of hard work and industry, it has been transformed into a peaceful setting centred around a deep crater lake reclaimed by nature.
Continue uphill to the Bergblick restaurant on Stallenkandel mountain, where you'll enjoy a well-earned break. An espresso and a slice of mini Gugelhupf cake are included, giving you time to relax while taking in views across the rolling Odenwald hills.
After your break, you'll make your way back along scenic forest paths, with views of the surrounding countryside along the route. Back at the starting point, a short drive brings you to a traditional Odenwald restaurant, where you can round off the day with regional specialities at your own expense.
