Today’s tour is all about flower power. You can see the Netherlands’ tulips in all their glory with a visit to Keukenhof, AKA the Garden of Europe. First, you’ll make the hour-long drive from Amsterdam to Lisse – a journey that thousands of flower fans make every year to ogle the park’s orchids, daffodils and hyacinths. It’s only open for eight weeks in March and May, when the seven million flower bulbs are in full bloom. You’ll be given a short orienteering walk, so you can get to grips with the 32-hectare garden. Then you’re free to wander the rainbow-coloured flower fields, snap photos of the wooden windmill, or get lost in the hedge maze. After a couple of hours of exploring, you’ll hop back on the bus to Amsterdam.
Just so you know, this tour will go off-sale 5 days prior, to ensure that our supplier can order tickets.
