Following pickup from your accommodation, take part in a short meet and greet with your driver before starting your journey to the Keukenhof. The Keukenhof is a flower park in Lisse, 45 minutes from Amsterdam. The park has an area of 32 hectares and attracts more then 1 million people each year with its millions of flowers.
Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids and chrysanthemums. After the Keukenhof you'll go to the Tulip Experience Amsterdam. That’s 10 minutes driving from the Keukenhof. At the Tulip Experience Amsterdam, you'll see the history of the tulip in their museum. After that you can go into the bulb fields with more then 1 millions tulips and 700 different kinds and take some nice pictures. At the end you can pluck your own tulips.
Next, explore Giethoorn, called the “Little Venice of the Netherlands”. This town is full of thatched-roof farms that are connected by more than 170 wooden bridges. Explore this unique town either by sailing a boat yourself or joining a canal cruise. On the water, your guide will tell about the history and culture of Giethoorn. After taking in the sights, you can take a seat in one of the town’s many restaurants for lunch (not included), before starting your trip back to Amsterdam.
