This full-day tour first takes you to Pura Tanah Lot, which is considered the most famous temple in Bali due to its unique location. It was built on a small island in the sea and is a great photo subject.
Then visit the colorful market in Tabanan where you can stroll along the many market stalls that sell fresh fruit, vegetables, spices and fish. Experience how the Balinese shop!
You will then continue the tour driving north, past Balinese villages and breathtaking scenery to reach the Batukaru Temple, located at 1300 meters above sea level. The climate in this region is often humid and foggy, which gives the temple a moss coat and the atmosphere a mystical touch.
The next stop is the UNESCO World Heritage-listed rice fields in Jatiluwih, where you will take a lunch break and take part in a short hike to see the rice growing. Finally, on your way back to South Bali, visit the Taman Ayun temple, which was built by King Mengwis in the 17th century.
