There are many ways to describe Bolzano, but the way we like the most is through the five senses!
That is right because during this walk you will have the chance to see, hear, taste, touch and smell the history and culture of the most charming Northern Italian city through its diverse and unique gastronomical tradition; a mix of Mediterranean and Austrian culinary background found nowhere else.
Your local host will guide through the historical center leading you on a cultural and historical journey of this remarkable alpine town. Your guide will share stories of the past and the present that have shaped Bolzano's cultural and food scene as well as their own experience as residents.
On this walk, you will have the chance to savor and taste samples from Bolzano's unique street food eateries, stalls; known and appreciated by locals, the real ambassadors of authentic tradition and daily life. Along the way, your local host will introduce you to the town’s interesting history as an old trading post since the Middle Ages, its Austrian background as a former territory of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire, as well as its fascinating architecture. This tour won’t leave you hungry and at the end will definitely make you feel like a real local!

Please meet your guide under the statue of Walther v. der Vogelweide on Walther's Square.
What to wear: Comfortable clothing and shoes. The tour will operate on cobble stone and flat or minimal inclined surface.
Please bring a bottle of water, or you can purchase one at the tasting stop.
Weather conditions: the tour takes place in case of sunny conditions as well as in the event of rain.

If you cancel at least seven day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between three and six day(s) in advance of the scheduled departure, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within two day(s) of the scheduled departure, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee.
NO-SHOW: No reimbursement to any client who is not at the starting place at the time established.
The tour is in English only and for groups, two up to 15 participants.
The tour operates daily, 10:00 am-12:30 pm. It does not operate on Sunday.
Also, it does not operate in November and December and during Italian Bank Holidays.
Please be at the meeting point at least 10 minutes prior the scheduled time and bring with you your voucher.
