What to expect

Departing from Glasgow, this tour will travel north towards Doune Castle which Outlander fans will know all too well as the home of the MacKenzie Clan. Here, you can explore the grounds and take in the atmospheric castle! Then it's onto Stirling where you'll be able to snap a photo with the Wallace Monument and Cambuskenneth Abbey before heading to the Royal Burgh of Culross. This tiny town, which is nestled on the coast of Fife, is arguable the best example of a 17th century village in Scotland and is home to a few filming locations from Outlander. After you've explored the village, you'll go onto the country home of Callendar House. Now a museum, this house dates back to the 14th century and is well worth a visit if you want to learn more about Scottish history. The last two stops of the day will be the Royal Burgh of Linlithgow and Blackness Casle. Both were notable sets in Outlander and are will make you feel like you're there!
