Meet your guide at the Central Station Graz. Here you’ll learn about the train station and its significance as an arrival point in the new country. Continue your walk to the private asylum Keplerstraße and discover the place where refugees are accommodated, get basic care and must face difficulties in the asylum procedure and housing search.
Visit an Afghan, Persian and Iranian food store in the Annenstraße and learn about different intercultural culinary approaches. Explore the “Carla Shop”, a place where refugees can meet Austrians. Next, take the tram to Jakominiplatz and see the Integration Fund Fraz. Here, Integration Agreements are signed by refugees, German courses are taught, and the integration year is organized. Reflect together about whether integration means something beyond these measures.
