Your guide will collect you from District 1 and whisk you off to Can Gio, affectionately known as "Monkey Island".
Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to visit a mangrove forest that's home to over 1,000 monkeys. You can interact with these playful creatures, feed them, and even snap some memorable photos with them clambered on your shoulder. Following this, a short stroll will take you to an alligator farm where local people conserve numerous large alligators, remnants from the American war era.
If you're feeling adventurous, you might want to try your hand at 'alligator fishing' (this is optional). Next, you'll hop onto speed boats for a thrilling ride to the "Sac" guerilla camp nestled deep in the jungle. This camp has now transformed into a popular tourist spot, offering visitors a glimpse of what life must have been like during wartime.
Afterwards, you'll stop by a bustling local seafood market brimming with fresh produce ranging from octopus and lobster to ray. There's also an assortment of dried foods available. Here, you'll be treated to a refreshing welcome drink of sugar cane juice before heading to a beach resort for a traditional Vietnamese lunch.
At the resort, you'll have time for leisure activities such as swimming and sightseeing. To conclude your day, you'll be transferred back to Ho Chi Minh City, wrapping up the tour in the late afternoon.
