Bled & Bohinj Lakes Tour

Two Slovenian lakes and one scenic tour. Lake Bled, with its picture-postcard island and castle, is Insta-perfect. Learn about its history and climb to the top of the castle for more of those attention-grabbing vistas. Next, you'll travel to Lake Bohinj, nestled within the jagged peaks of the Julian Alps and part of Triglav National Park. It's Slovenia's largest lake, too, and you'll have the option to see it from above from Mt Vogel or head to Savica waterfall. After lunch, visit St John the Baptist Church then journey back through the villages of the Upper Bohinj Valley.

Bohinj Valley Tour

Home to the largest lake in Slovenia, the Bohinj Valley is the pearl of the Julian Alps. Departing from Bled, you'll travel towards the peaks of the Julian Alps through remote and romantic villages dotted throughout Triglav National Park. You won't be able to take your eyes off the ever-rolling Alpine scenery. Once you arrive in the Bohinj Valley, you'll have the option of capturing it all from above with a cable car ride up Mt Vogel. Then, back at the lake, you'll be taken to see the frescoes in the St John the Baptist Church before some free time rounds off the tour.

Julian Alps Tour

Near to the Italian border, the towering peaks of the Julian Alps really are a sight to behold. Begin your journey by snaking your way along the Vrsic Pass from Kranjska Gora. With an elevation of 1611m, it's the highest in all Slovenia. Then, you'll descent into the Trenta Valley, travelling beside the emerald green waters of the River Soca. Stop in Bovec, an elegant and prosperous village. Here, you'll be able to find a nice spot for lunch. Afterwards, continue along the Predel Pass, which runs at an elevation of 1156m, back to Kranjska Gora via the world-famous ski jump centre in Planica.

Predjama Castle & Postojna Caves Tour

This trip doubles up on historic Slovenian gems. First, we'll head to the Postojna Caves, one of the longest cave systems in Europe. But you won't just be exploring on foot – you'll climb aboard the world's first cave railway to marvel at thousands of stalagmites and stalactites.
