Once the largest palace in Europe, with over 1,500 rooms and 23 acres, Whitehall was larger than Versailles and the Vatican. It was once the main residence of British royalty and numerous nation-changing events happened within its walls. Your visit will recount stories of history where it happened - the execution of Charles I, marriages of Henry VIII, first performance of Othello. The House also includes an impressive collection of art by Rubens, Michelangelo, Holbein, Raphael and Da Vinci.
