The tour starts at the Cervantes monument at Plaza de España. After a brief safety training, you will visit Madrid’s famous Royal Palace and the Almudena Cathedral, as well as the Temple of Debod, that was given to Spain as a gift in 1968 by the Egyptian government. Afterwards, you will quickly dive into the outskirts of Madrid’s old town, seeing even more interesting places such as the Opera square.
- 90-minute Tour
Starting the itinerary on San Vicente slope your guide will first take you to the Madrid Río Park, with ten kilometres of pedestrian routes as a result of the ambitious environmental restoration of the Manzanares river banks. You will glide along the edge of the Campo del Moro royal gardens and discover the underground passageway that connected the Royal Palace and the Casa de Campo park. After traversing the architectural ensemble that includes the Puente del Rey bridge and gate and enjoying the magnificent views of the Royal Palace from this side of the river, the tour continues on small paths in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere until reaching the Cerro Garabitas viewpoint, which overlooks Madrid’s major monuments. While riding through the landscape full of pine trees and robles, your guide will also comment on the history of the Spanish Civil War. To conclude, you will make your way along the oldest bridge in town - Puente de Segovia - and have a look over major landmarks, such as the King´s Esplanade and the Virgen del Puerto chapel gardens, before returning to the city center.

Starting the glide on Bailén street, your guide will first take you to Plaza de Oriente, where you will learn about the statues of the Gothic kings and the famous equestrian statue of Philip IV. Nearby, you will be able to admire the facade of the Royal Palace and take photos at the Plaza de Armas facing the Almudena Cathedral. Just a moment later, you will glide through the historical neighborhood of Los Austrias to reach the heart of the medieval city, Plaza de la Villa. Narrow streets and alleys lead to the Mercado de San Miguel, one of Madrid’s oldest and most beautiful markets, from where you will continue on to the Plaza Mayor to see the centenary Bakery House. Afterwards, you will enter the Literary Quarter, birthplace of the most important artists from the Spanish Golden Age, before seeing the world-renowned Prado Museum. The tour’s final part leads you to the Puerta del Sol and San Gines - one of Madrid's oldest churches - and the Royal Theatre, before ending at Plaza de España.

Glide along Plaza de Oriente to discover the baroque statue of Felipe IV and be surprised about the interesting stories of the statues all over the square. Nearby, you will be able to admire the facade of the Royal Palace. Learn about the mystery that has been kept hidden for ages in Plaza Ramales, and glide through the historical neighborhood of Los Austrias. Narrow streets and alleys lead to the Mercado de San Miguel. You will continue on to the Plaza de Puerta Cerrada to know about many legends and curiosities of the Villa. Stop in Plaza Mayor and enjoy to stretch your legs towards the historical Bakery House. Make your way along the Literary Quarter to the Paseo del Prado, where you will pass next to the exceptional Atocha station to see the statue of Claudio Moyano and Pío Baroja in the way of the Retiro Park. Cruise on to the pathways to see the Fallen Angel statue and pass next to the french-inspired garden of La Rosaleda, to take a little break next to the Crystal Palace. Admire your lovely natural surroundings and pause to take photos by the imposing monument to Alfonso XII, before visiting one of the most representatives places in Madrid, Puerta de Alcalá. Follow your guide down Alcalá street and see several historical sites like the popular Cibeles fountain or the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. The tour’s final part leads you to the Puerta del Sol and San Gines - one of Madrid's oldest churches - and the Royal Theatre, before ending at Plaza de España.
