Paddle through clear water, sand pine scrub, flat woods and black water swamps - located only minutes from Orlando.

Your 4 hour trip offers a great opportunity to observe alligators, the rare black bear, manatees, and numerous wading birds all from the safety of your kayak. After working up an appetite, you will enjoy a light picnic style lunch served on the riverside. Then, hop in a shuttle back to your car at starting point.

Meeting point:

From the Orlando Attractions drive east on Interstate 4. Exit right at exit 101B-C. The exit ramp splits into exit 101B on the right and 101C to the left. Go left to exit 101c. At the end of the ramp is a traffic light. This is Highway 46. Turn left and travel 4.7 miles. At the third turn about go right onto Wekiva Park Drive. Continue for 1 mile then turn left into Katies Landing. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time.

What to remember

Guests must be at least 6 years old
Maximum of 14 participants per tour group
During checkout, select if you would like a single kayak or tandem kayak
In order for the tour operator to provide the appropriate sized kayak - you will be requested to provide your height at checkout
Note, the kayaks available by the tour operator have a maximum weight limit of 280 lbs
Important, upon arrival all guests must sign a liability waiver
Recommended to bring : Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen), wear clothes that can get wet and possibly dirty, waterproof camera
