The inside story
The National Marionette Theatre in Prague performs world-famous operas like the Magic Flute by Mozart in a unique way with beautifully handmade marionettes and puppets. In Czech, the theatre is also called “Říše loutek”, which means "The Kingdom of Puppets". Visitors can not only witness the shows or see the exposition of historical marionettes, but also take in the historical flair of the unique architectural theatre or take a backstage tour and discover the behind the scenes.
