What to expect

The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art (GNAM) houses the most complete collection dedicated to Italian and foreign art from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Located in Rome, it has over 4,400 works including paintings and sculptures and about 13,000 drawings and prints by artists, mostly Italian, of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

What to remember
  • Entrance to the Palazzo is free every first Sunday of the month
  • You can access the museum at anytime during opening hours
  • Your ticket must be printed at home and shown at the entrance
  • Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged
  • If tickets are purchased at a reduced/free price, it is necessary to show valid ID at the ticket office in line with the reduction you have purchased. If you are unable to show proper ID, you may be required to buy a full-price ticket to enter.
