Your guide will lead you through the Vatican museum with highlights such as the Room of the Animals, the Laocoön Group, the Torso of the Belvedere, Nero's Bath, Tapestry Gallery and the Gallery of the maps.

Behold Raphael's beautiful frescos in the Stanze di Raffaelo and see the private rooms of Pope Julius II. Finally and in silence, you will enter the Sistine Chapel where on 13 March 2012 Pope Francesco is elected in the conclave. Behold Michelangelo’s breathtaking frescos. With more than 300 figures on a ceiling area of 500m2 is this one of the most extraordinary pieces of art in the world.

Your passionate guide has discovered every secret of the chapel and is happy to share this knowledge. Get to know Michelangelo and the Vatican like no one else. The tour continues to the Vatican Library and finally, you will leave the museum via the Momo Staircase which will lead you to St Peter’s Square. What to remember
  • Due to the Coronavirus, it is not possible to visit the St. Peter's basilica in combination with the visit to the Vatican Museum, the tour will end at the St Peter's Square
  • Children must be in possession of their identity cards
  • A maximum amount of 10 persons is possible per group
  • Don't forget to wear suitable clothing (covered shoulders and skirts/trousers to the knees)
  • Larger backpacks can be checked in for free, you can pick them up after the tour
  • The use of facemasks is obligatory during the whole the tour
  • At the entrance, each visitor's temperature will be measured. At a body temperature of more than 37.5°C entrance to the museum will be denied
  • During the tour, everyone must keep a distance of at least 1 meter between each other
  • Consider the possibility that the tour might be rescheduled to a different time due to the limited availability of tickets, you will be notified of this well in advance
  • Departure time can change depending on the availability of tickets or unforeseen circumstances
