Whether you're a seasoned beer lover or a complete novice, this tour will take you on the ultimate brewery adventure. With the help of your expert guide, you'll check out York's best breweries and meet the people who are revolutionising the beer-making process while sampling the delights that they brew.
There are three routes to choose from, each of which offers something unique:
Northwest Route: Explore the northwest of York on this microbrewery tour and take in the stunning scenery while you sip on some of the finest beers that the area produces. You'll visit Rudgate, Yorkshire Heart Wines & Beers and Ainsty Ales and see how these breweries are transforming microbrewing.
Southeast Route: There’s more to York than what’s within its walls and this brewery route will show you what. You'll explore the beer scene further afield as you visit microbreweries in Elvington, Ellerton, and Acaster Malbis before heading back to the city. You'll check out Brew York, Half Moon and the Hop Studio and see the modern twists on the traditional.
Malton Route: Leave the city centre behind and discover three of the best breweries around Malton and Pickering. The charming town of Malton is best known as a haven for foodies but it also has some incredible drinks producers. You'll visit two of these during this tour before heading off to Pickering to check out a brewpub. You'll go to Bad Seed Brewery, Breworks and the Brass Castle and experience the craft beer culture in a unique way.
