It is now time to explore Old Dubai and the Creekside, where it all began. Hop on the Abra water taxi, the city's oldest mode of transportation, to cross the Creek. Walk around Al Fahidi Historical District and stop by Al Khayma Heritage House, experiencing Emirati hospitality along with the traditions and customs that are preserved as it is.
Before ending the house tour, stroll through the old Emirati bedroom with its antiques, and appreciate the architectural development of the actual house, from the tent replica at the restaurant to Arish palm front houses and finally to the megastructures.
