Join a local guide to gain fun and fascinating insight into the history and culture of Ho Chi Minh City. This full-day tour covers a lot of ground: museums, monuments, a temple, and the everyday mayhem of the busy city streets!
You'll start the tour by checking out some of the major Ho Chi Minh sights like the Opera House, the General Post Office and Notre Dame Cathedral, built by the French during the colonial era. Then, you'll head to the Reunification Palace and to the War Remnants Museum. The museum was originally opened in 1975 and displays old military equipment and other items from the Vietnam War. In the courtyard, you will find some larger exhibits including an F5A fighter and a UH1-Huey helicopter. You’ll then enjoy a traditional Pho - or noodle soup - before making your way to Chinatown passing through the fascinating back streets near Cho Lon, one of the busiest commercial districts of Ho Chi Minh City.
