Grand Canyon West and beyond combo

This excursion includes an exhilarating helicopter descent to the canyon floor. This tour allows more time to roam the bottom of the canyon and take in the views from a distinctive vantage point.

After your hotel pickup, you’ll ride through the Mojave Desert in the Pink Adventure Tour Trekker vehicle. Enjoy plenty of legroom and oversized windows for the greatest views. The Mojave Desert is the only place where you can find Joshua Trees. Spot the dense forests of them en route to the Grand Canyon. You’ll also get to see Lake Mead, a reservoir created by the Hoover Dam.

Once you arrive at the West Rim, you’ll hop aboard an ECO-Star helicopter for your trip. On your ride see the canyon from every angle and ride in style and comfort with surround sound headsets with a personalized tour narration. To top it all off, there is a private landing site 300 feet above the river for an up-close look at the area.

After your helicopter ride, stroll along the rim for photos. Then your guide will fill you in the area’s geology, natural landmarks and ecosystems and sharing information about the native people. Enjoy delicious picnic lunch, then check out the historic dwellings in a Hualapai village. You might even catch dances performed in full tribal dress. Don’t worry there is time to also shop for handcrafted gifts, souvenirs, art, and sundries.

The next stop is the Skywalk—a West Rim must-see attraction. The Skywalk is a walkway that extends 70 feet past the rock rim and floats 4,000 feet above the canyon floor! Have your picture taken by the professional photographer, as cameras and phones are not allowed. On the way back to Las Vegas, your guide will take your picture at the Hoover Dam and tell you all about the dam’s construction during the Great Depression.
