Get ready to have your breath taken away at each stop as you visit Iceland's natural wonders and man-made ice caves dug into Langjökull, the country's second largest glacier.
Upon being picked up from your accommodation in the centre of Reykjavik, you will start your day with a bus trip to the town of Húsafell. Once there you will get into a special glacier vehicle that has been custom designed for tackling the task ahead, the dive inside the ice cap glacier. Prepare to leave the familiar surroundings of civilization and embark on an amazing journey through ice tunnels.
As you take some time to absorb the alien beauty of this environment, your guide will point out the effects of global warming and Iceland's seismic history. You will learn about how these natural phenomena come to be and why they may not be around for much longer.
Following the ice caves exploration, you will head back to Húsafell and then visit some nature hotspots on the way back to Reykjavik, such as the Hraunfossar waterfalls which originate in a lava field and stretch over a distance of 900 metres.
