Start your magic walking tour in the Ensemble Artisanal (Handicraft Centre), is a government-sponsored complex of artisan workshops established to teach their trade to apprentices and who at the same time also sell their creations direct to the consumer at fixed prices that are deemed reasonable.
Then you will move on through the Jamâa El Fna square and the medina to Dar Si Said Museum, this one is the most popular folklore museums in Marrakesh. The exhibition is housed in an old palace and combines artisan craftwork and Islamic architecture. The spacious townhouse belonged to the younger brother of the grand vizier Ba Ahmed. It was turned into a museum during the French protectorate in 1932 and was renovated in 1978/80 and again in 2008.
